Getting Started

PushPilot connects your WordPress environments so you can push and pull files and database changes safely between local, staging, and production.

Requirements

  • WordPress 6.9+
  • PHP 7.4+ (8.x recommended)
  • MySQL 5.7+ or MariaDB 10.3+

Install on each environment

  1. Purchase a license at pushpilotplugin.com/pricing (account required) or install the free build from WordPress.org.
  2. Upload the pushpilot folder to /wp-content/plugins/ and activate.
  3. Go to Env Sync → Environments and note this site's API URL, key, and secret.
  4. On your other server, add this site as a remote environment using those credentials.

First sync

  1. Open Env Sync → Sync Wizard
  2. Select the remote environment
  3. Choose Push or Pull
  4. Pick components (themes, plugins, database, etc.)
  5. Review the diff — uncheck anything you do not want
  6. Confirm and watch live progress

Paid tiers: Settings → License → enter key from your account dashboard.
